Friends of the Palmerton Library meet four times per
year. They sponsor programs and fundraisers for the good of
the library. Call the library for more information about
joining the Friends.
WHO ARE THE FRIENDS OF THE
LIBRARY?
The Friends of the Library is a non-profit
group of concerned patrons who are interested in promoting
library services and bringing to it the finest resources.
HOW CAN I HELP THE FRIENDS?
Join us! We would
love to have you help us improve and promote this valuable
public resource. We welcome the fresh ideas and enthusiasm of
new members.
WHAT DO THE FRIENDS DO?
We engage
in fundraisers and volunteer activities such as the
following:
- Ongoing book
sale
- Shelving
books
- Arranging
programs/activities
- Reading at story
hour
- Sponsoring book
clubs
- Volunteering at the Community
Festival Book Sale (held in the library
basement)
- Promoting the library
throughout the community and surrounding
areas

free, the Friends Of The Palmerton
Library, either stop in the library to pick
up a memshership form (found at the circulation desk),
