Requirements: 12 yrs or older, or 6^th grade and up to and including 12^th grade or 19 yrs, whichever time comes last

Meeting Time: At least once a month, for special projects, more often, times and dates will be announced

Goals:

o       Encourage teens to read and come to the library more often by promoting young adult books, movies and magazines

o       Assist with activities within the library such as:

v     Story hour

v     Book sale

v     Summer reading program

o       Create new fun programs for teenagers and younger children such as:

v     Show and Tell

v     Scavenger Hunts

v     Talent Show

v     Sleepovers

v     Pizza Parties

v     Book Discussion Groups

v     Murder Mystery Nights

o       Create a TAG web page on Palmerton Library site

v     Recommended reading lists

v     Teen Newsletter

v     Book Reviews authored by group members

v     Calendar of Teen Events

v     Scrapbook of recent teen events (both online and at the Library)
